Bassu first opened it's doors in December 2013 with  Company Director and Senior Stylist  Ardia Wilkinson  bringing  the 'ayurvedic philosophy" into the heart of Morpeth.

  Salon Floor Manager & Senior Stylist Alex Dawson joined the team in early 2017 and brought with her, a wealth of knowledge gathered from working in City Centre Salons  .​

​

Senior Stylist Claire Brown joined Bassu in June 2022. she has over 25 years experience in the industry and is an expert in Pre bonded, Nano and Micro ring extensions.

 

  

 Assistant Salon Manager /Stylist/Colourist Olivia  joined our team in August 2022 and her expertise is with highlighting, freehand colouring and long hair styling.

​

 Retail Ambassador/Colourist/Stylist Coby joined the team at Bassu in September 2024.

Coby is an expert in highlighting and balayage and excels in all things Loreal.

His retail knowledge with the Kerastase brand is second to none and offers free Hair Care consultations daily.

Chloe our trainee Hair Stylist joined our team in November 2025

Attending college one day per week and training within Bassu Salon , Chloe is advancing her hairdressing skills well.

Chantelle joined our team in September 2024 .

Chantelle is our salon assistant and is currently studying for her hairdressing qualification .

Carys is our Saturday assistant and will always greet you with a smile.

Our partnership with the prestigious brands KERASTASE and L'oreal Professional means we look after your hair and scalp  with the most absolute care.

All our products are Vegan.

All Kerastase product bottles are recyclable ( aiming in  the next few years to also recycle Kerastase lids )
